Joseph Beuys | Book Design

I was given the opportunity to create a coffee table book that represents and explains the biography of the artist Joseph Beuys. I designed the page layouts and cover, which I then printed and had a bookbinder fit on an old book. The book cover and gold head of a hare were 3D printed with the help of a friend in engineering and 3D modeling. This design is for a user to not only read about Joseph, but also notice his persona within the layout. He was peculiar but inviting, which I believed was represented perfectly by the animal's head.
